01 / Overview
Following a successful previous season, WHL on Victory+ had exceeded viewership expectations, establishing itself as a key driver of the platform’s growth. For the 2026–27 season, the goal was to build on that momentum by creating a more cohesive visual identity across the platform, marketing channels, and broadcast experience.

02 / Creative direction
The WHL team had responded particularly well to the bold, industrial, and gamified aesthetic of our previous Battle of the Rinks campaign. I used that visual language as a starting point for the creative brief, guiding my team in developing a unified visual system that could translate seamlessly across every touchpoint; from paid media and social content to the live broadcast experience.

03 / Outcome & credits
The final visual identity was a collaborative effort between myself and my team. I led the consolidation of our design explorations into a cohesive presentation, refining the work through feedback and revisions to secure final approval from both internal stakeholders and the WHL team. The proposed identity received approval and positive feedback, but following the insolvency of our parent company, APMC, the project was unable to move into implementation. While the identity never made it to market, the project established a unified creative direction for the 2026–27 season.
